Lucas Mageno
Founder
Lucas Mageno is the founder of iDiscover Global, Inc. Under his direction the company has quickly become a leading provider of e-discovery technology and services.
His ability to attract, develop and maintain key employees has been a hallmark of his career and instrumental in iDiscover’s success. In the first year of business Mr. Mageno secured offices and staff in Washington DC, Phoenix, AZ New York, NY and San Francisco, CA.
An entrepreneur at heart, Lucas has demonstrated repeated success managing numerous fast-growth startup companies. His 20-year career has focused on the litigation support industry.
Mr. Mageno’s plans include making iDiscover an international resource for law firms and corporation’s counsel around the world.
Robert Simpson
Partner/Chief Software Architect
Robert Simpson spearheaded the development of the iDiscover software Invariant™. His extensive background in designing scalable, internationalized applications has been instrumental in iDiscover’s success.
Robert has been a professional software developer for more than 25 years and a lead software designer for 10 years.
Specializing in the development of large-scale distributed processing applications, Robert has designed and developed systems for companies including Honeywell and FedEx. His applications have been deployed worldwide and translated into multiple languages.
Chris Wiley
National IT Director/Data Forensic Examiner
As head of iDiscover’s IT operations, Christopher (Chris) Wiley is based in the company’s national datacenter in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to joining iDiscover he was National IT Manager for Encore Lex Solutio, a national litigation support company.
Chris Wiley has devoted most of his 25+ year IT/security career to the technological advancement of secure IT and management solutions. His accomplishments are widely recognized by IT professionals and top consultants throughout the country.
Chris has managed the IT mergers and integration of 12 corporations. He has achieved a 16-year record of impregnability to multiple viruses, hackers and worms.
He directly managed network/internet security for clients including IBM, Toshiba, Sony, Xerox, Acer and Direct Alliance Corp, successfully deterring 2+ million external attacks per month per company.
In addition, Chris served as sole contractor responsible for the redesign of the DOD Commissary Agency’s global financial transactions security network.
Jim Schraven
Operations Manager
Jim Schraven brings to iDiscover 10 years of technical and management experience with major litigation support companies. As director of operations for Apex he headed up the company’s coding division, overseeing 50 domestic coders and another 20 overseas.
During his 6 years with IPRO Jim started in the conversion department, working his way up to managing their online coding division. He also has experience as a tech analyst, providing another layer of insight into iDiscover’s software.
Jim is iCONECT certified and has previously been Ringtail and Attenex certified and is well versed in Concordance and Summation.
Jim’s background also includes an eight-year stint in the Navy. There he handled radar operations, limited air traffic control and navigation, as well as instructor duty.
Bill Spiegel IV
Senior National Project Manager
Bill Spiegel serves as an iDiscover Senior Project Manager. He has numerous years of experience managing multiple large complex projects for Am Law 100 Firms and Fortune 500 companies as well as for the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission and the European Commission.
Bill excels in delivering the highest level of customer service and quality. Because of his extensive experience with ESI processing, web hosting, review and early case assessment Bill is able to provide exceptional workflow/case consultation resulting in effective and successful case management.
Gene Polk
Director of Project Management
Gene Polk serves as the Director of Project Management, he ensures quality performance and compliance, and is accountable for client projects. He is a certified LexisNexis trainer and has a strong background in IPRO, iCONECT and Summation.
Prior to joining iDiscover Global, Gene worked in the records management and litigation support industry for more than 12 years. He began his litigation support career as a technical support specialist for IPRO, a major developer of litigation support software.
He has also worked for major litigation support companies, including Pitney Bowes, Encore Legal Solutions and Apex Document Solutions, serving as operations manager, trainer, systems engineer, trial consultant and web repository manager.
