Velocity™

Velocity™ is an accelerated file transfer capability implemented by iDiscover to facilitate rapid transfers of e-discovery data between iDiscover and clients on a national level. Velocity is implemented locally at all iDiscover locations and can be implemented easily in-house at a client location. The system employs automated VPN technology and is secured by 256 bit encryption. iDiscover maintains high bandwidth connections and accelerates the transfers up to 100X the speed of traditional FTP.

Velocity can tune the amount of bandwidth it wishes to use, or it can run at maximum speed. Depending on the amount of bandwidth available, maximum speed can be more than 100x faster than traditional FTP-over-TCPIP.

The Velocity appliance resides locally, either inside or outside your firewall, where you can attach media such as DVDs, external drives, or shared data on your network.

The Velocity appliance directly transfers your data to our datacenter where it will be rapidly processed, analyzed and culled then hosted at iDiscover in Relativity® or returned for in-house hosting at the client location.

The Velocity appliance automatically creates an encrypted one-to-one Virtual Private Network (VPN) directly to a secure file storage location dedicated to you in our processing facility. Client files are kept in dedicated secure locations to insure clarity and ease of use.

The Velocity appliance creates a virtual EDD processing platform for your organization with the ability to handle high volume complex data sets in record time.
